Roto VR is the result of years of R&D from an experienced team of video games industry proffessionals.  We're passionate about VR and we won't stop innovating until 'total immersion' is available to everyone.

Whilst VR technology is evolving at a rappid pace, there are still a number of barriers to comfortable 360 VR immersion.  Check out VR Focus' live blog of our CEO Elliott Myers outlining the challenges of seated VR at UKVR Fest.

Barriers to Virtual Reality

Standing up in VR can be dangerous, as both balance and sight are impaired.  Here's a compilation video showing what not to do...

Roto VR gives us a safe and comfortable explore 360 degrees safely and comfortably, but with it's integrated motor, Roto delivers total immersion.

The interactive VR chair can spin 360 degrees without cables getting tangled up thanks to the integrated slipring 'magazines'.  Simply clip in the magazine for the HMD you want supported.  This means no more having to artificially turn the world using a game controller, the main culprit of VR motion sickness.

Roto also tracks which direction you're facing, allowing for decoupled VR traversal, which means you can turn your head independently from your body.  This makes control methods more intuitive than using a game pad.

The integrated motor is also bi-directional, so game developers and movie directors can turn us towards the action, just like a Disney ride.

Roto has been designed to support all headsets, and has a modular design for built-in future compatibility with headsets as they further develop into the future.
