Expansion Packs & Compatibility
As Roto spins infinitely 360 degrees, cables can get tangled up. Roto Expansion Packs are designed to pass through the Roto VR Base, integrating high quality slip-ring technology to provide tangle-free connections to your Roto VR chair.
As HMD's and virtual reality accessories continously evolve, we have designed Roto VR Expansion Packs to be interchangable and therefore upgradable, enabling Roto to be future proof.
There are two Expansion Packs available at launch:
Roto VR Expansion Packs
Ideal for mobile VR headsets such as Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard.
The Expansion Pack upgrades Roto to accept power (for Roto Simulator Pack) and USB (for charging your mobile device or accessories whilst playing).
To install your Roto Expansion Pack unscrew the base cover, and insert the expansion pack.
Note: Expansion Packs can always be upgraded.

Advanced
Ideal for tethered VR headsets such as Oculus VR, Playstation VR (PSVR) and HTC Vive Pre.
The Advanced Expansion Pack upgrades Roto to accept power (for Roto Simulator Pack) in addition to HMD and accessory connections.
